The standard we build to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at Level AA. We treat that as the working target for every page on this site rather than as a one time project.
What we have implemented
Pages are built from semantic HTML with a single main heading, a logical heading order, and landmark regions for the header, navigation, main content and footer.
Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and each one shows a clearly visible focus outline. A skip to main content link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches on every page.
Text and background color pairs are checked against the Level AA contrast thresholds. Information is never conveyed by color alone. Form fields have persistent visible labels rather than placeholder-only labels, errors are announced in text next to the field they belong to, and required fields are marked in the markup as well as visually.
The layout reflows to a single column on small screens and stays usable when text is enlarged. Wide tables scroll inside their own container so the page itself never scrolls sideways. We respect the reduced motion setting in your operating system.
Known limitations
Wide comparison tables need horizontal scrolling on a narrow phone screen. We keep the table in its own scrollable region and label it so a screen reader announces it, but the sideways movement is still there. If a table is hard to read on your device, call or email us and we will send the same information in another format.
