The short version
This website does not use cookies. It does not run advertising pixels, analytics scripts or third-party tracking of any kind. Fonts and every other asset are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not send your information to any outside service.
The only personal information we receive through this website is what you choose to type into the contact form and send to us.
Information we collect
When you submit the contact form we receive the fields you complete. Name and email address are required. Phone number, company name, the service you are interested in, your approximate monthly transaction volume, and your message are collected when you provide them.
Alongside your submission we automatically record the date and time, the IP address the submission came from, and your browser user agent string. We record these two technical items only to detect and block automated spam and abuse of the form.
Our hosting provider maintains standard server access logs, as essentially all web hosts do. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider under its own retention practices.
How we use it
We use what you submit to respond to your enquiry, to prepare a scope and quote if you have asked for one, and to follow up about that enquiry.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade or share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not add you to a marketing list from a contact form submission alone.
Who can access it
Submissions are stored in a private directory on our hosting account that is not reachable from the public internet, and a notification copy is delivered to our business mailbox at info@yfgconsultants.com.
Two categories of service provider are necessarily involved: our web hosting provider, which operates the server where the site and the stored submissions live, and our email provider, which delivers and stores the notification message. Both act as processors for us. Nobody else receives your submission.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions for as long as we are in active discussion with you, and for up to twenty four months afterwards so that we can pick up a conversation you restart. After that we delete them.
If you become a client, information relating to the engagement is governed by the written services agreement between us rather than by this website policy.
Your choices and your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email info@yfgconsultants.com or call (209) 456-5966 and tell us what you would like us to do. We will action a deletion request within thirty days and confirm when it is done.
We apply these rights to everyone who contacts us, wherever you live in the United States, rather than only to residents of states that require it by statute.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Stored submissions sit outside the public web directory with restrictive file permissions. Access to the mailbox that receives notifications is protected by an individual account password and is limited to people at YFG Consultants who need it to respond to enquiries.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account or card numbers, payroll registers, or other sensitive records through the website contact form. If you need to send us documents, contact us first and we will arrange a secure exchange.
Children
This is a business to business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried in a redline.
